Panto Season Is Nearly Here!
Oh yes, it is!
UK theatres are preparing for the most gloriously bonkers time of year (our personal favourite): panto season! Whether you're heading to the ball with Cinderella, climbing the beanstalk with Jack, following Peter Pan to Neverland, or waking up Sleeping Beauty, a fairytale adventure awaits the whole family!
Here are a few reasons why we can't wait for panto season.

We Love A Baddie
What's a hero without a villain?
Every panto needs someone for the audience to collectively hate, no matter if it's a wicked witch, an evil stepmother, a demon, or a scheming king. Fortunately for the audience, panto villains are often so gloriously over-the-top and camp that you can't help but root for them. The only downside is you're guaranteed to leave the theatre with a sore throat from all that booing.
Oh, What A Dame!
Usually played by a very enthusiastic man in an even more enthusiastic costume, the dame is one of the great British theatrical traditions. With enormous wigs, outrageous frocks, questionable make-up and excessive double entendres, if she doesn't make at least one joke about her enormous shoes, it's technically not a panto.
It's The Perfect Christmas Treat
Whether you're looking for a festive family day out, a Christmas tradition or simply an excuse to shout at the top of your lungs, panto season has something for you!
